Can't detect reader on CentOS 5.5 with OpenCT

beeth
I compiled and installed(no error noticed so far) OpenCT 0.6.20 on CentOS 5.5, however, the smartcard reader (ActivIDentity) couldn't be detected:
# openct-tool list
# opensc-tool -l
No smart card readers found.

However, "lsusb" could see the device:
# lsusb
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 005 Device 004: ID 09c3:0013 ActivCard, Inc.
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0430:00a2 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0430:100e Sun Microsystems, Inc. 24.1" LCD Monitor v4
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 045e:0039 Microsoft Corp. IntelliMouse Optical

I noticed "openct-control" didn't work at all, no process was running:
# openct-control init
# openct-control status
#

CentOS has pcsc-lite installed, pcscd is running, and there is a GUI smartcard manager tool on the system, which can talk to the reader and card without any problem.

How can I make OpenCT work?
Please advise.
Thank you very much!

Below is the output of OpenCT configure, looks like there is no USB support.
Also, should I start openct daemon with openctd(user)/usb(group)?

# ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
...

I don't think it is a good idea to open a bug _and_ request for help
on the mailing list at the same time.
Please select ONE communication channel only. Read the answers on the
bug tracker [1].

Bye
