Problem with generating keys on SmartCard HSM

Hello,

i've a Problem with generating keys with pkcs11-tool on a SmartCard HSM.
I get the following error:

"Using slot 1 with a present token (0x1)
error: PKCS11 function C_GenerateKeyPair failed: rv = CKR_GENERAL_ERROR
(0x5)

Aborting."

Commandline input:

pkcs11-tool --module opensc-pkcs11.so --login --pin 654321 --keypairgen
--key-type EC:prime256v1 --id 2

Ubuntu 14.04 64 Bit
OpenSC from official source (no special ./configure parameters just
standard)
pcscd from Ubuntu repositories
PCSC driver from ACS for the reader (the open source CCID doesn't work)

pkcs11-tool --module opensc-pkcs11.so -O output

I have the same token and its working. I successfully generate the EC keypair on the token. I am not sure which opensc version you are using but I am  using opensc_0.13.0g20140514221131-1. you can download it from [1]

OPENSC_DEBUG=9 pkcs11-tool --module opensc-pkcs11.so --login --pin
