iKey 3000 question

Tarasov Viktor
Hi,

I cannot reinitialize the iKey-3000: MF not found.

with OpenSC-starcos:
APDU: 00 A4 00 00 02 3F 00 00
SW: 69 85

with SafeSign-STARCOS-testutils-1.0.9.04-2aet:
APDU: 00 A4 00 0C 02 3F 00
SW: 69 85

Is it possible to resuscitate this token, please?

Kind wishes,
Viktor.

Cheers,

Just curious: What does this APDU do?

it returns the exact version number (and this version number
contains the information whether or not the token is erasable).

actually that's afaik normal if no MF is present. What does a
simple "pkcs15-init -C" give you ?

don't know this version, but looking at the last byte it should be
erasable

Cheers,
Nils

Thank you,
I've done it in Windows with SafeSign utils.
Btw, to reinitialize token,
this tool do not asked for transport key, SOPIN, or something like that.
How it works? acl NONE for erase? default value?

Kind wishes,
Viktor.

you don't need a pin to erase an eraseable token
